Movies get promoted usually… But when it comes to a big-budgeted movie like ‘Ra.One’ one can expect the promotional campaigns to be as alluring as the big picture itself.

It’s reported that for his magnum opus venture ‘Ra.One’, Shah Rukh Khan has planned its promotion in a very big, elaborate way, such that the movie will leave a lifetime impression.

For promoting the film in unique way, King Khan has decided to start the longest fan mail, as an attempt to enter the prestigious Limca Book Of Records. As a part of this promotional activity, the star is said to release Ra.One’s promos across five cities in India – for which SRK will visit five cities every month and in turn he will span 25 cities in five months.

Hmm, normally stars join the promotional events only a month ahead of the movie’s release. But here, Shah Rukh is all set to spread word about his ‘Ra.One’ now itself while the film hits the screens only on October 26.

The producer-actor, who plans his film's promotional strategies himself, has planned the events in such a way that before the sci-fi thriller releases, every Indian city would have heard of the film.

According to sources, SRK will set out on the inter-city tour from today at Wadala, Mumbai. Explaining more about the tour sources said, “He will then travel to Chandigarh, Indore, Delhi and Ahmedabad. He will sign autographs and start the longest fan mail which will be circulated in all the cinemas and will continue till the release of the film.”

While SRK travels solo for this tour, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal said to join him for the other tours.
